They’re an awesome band who performed at Spartanburg Regional Foundation’s Hangar B Ball fundraiser last night in Spartanburg, South Carolina (by Amy Wood). But check out what Gracie does! Mayor Bloomberg has big plans for Staten Island—the New York Wheel! When finished by the end of 2015, it will be the world’s largest Ferris wheel (84 feet higher than the Singapore Flyer and 75 feet higher than Las Vegas’s planned ‘High Roller’ wheel). According to the mayor’s office, it will feature 36 capsules, each able to carry up to 40 passengers.
